Today we celebrate the stories that make us feel alive.
We celebrate those moments when the lights go out and suddenly anything is possible. When silence becomes expectation and a voice, a gesture or a glance opens the door to other worlds. Theatre is that shared space where life multiplies, where emotions take shape and where, for a moment, we stop being spectators to become part of a collective story.
World Theatre Day, this March 27, is much more than a date on the calendar. It is a reminder of the transformative power of the stage. Its ability to question, to move us, to make us laugh or feel uncomfortable. To give words to what is often left unspoken.
Behind every performance there are invisible hours of creation, rehearsal, doubts and discoveries. There are teams who believe in stories, artists who give their all, and audiences who, through their presence, give meaning to it all. Theatre does not exist without this encounter.
Today we celebrate the stories that make us feel alive because they reflect us, shake us and connect us. We celebrate the unrepeatable magic of each performance, the fragility and strength of live art. We celebrate the ability to look into each other’s eyes and recognize ourselves.
Happy World Theatre Day.
