The family-friendly play by Marta Buchaca, directed by Jordi Andújar, comes back to Barcelona with new performances and Rubén Albaladejo joining the cast.
The family show Alice in Mobileland, written by Marta Buchaca and directed by Jordi Andújar, returns to Teatre Romea in Barcelona for a new season of performances from March 11 to 22, 2026. Following its successful premiere, with dozens of performances and wide acclaim from family and school audiences, the Viu el Teatre production returns to the stage to encourage reflection on our relationship with mobile phones and screen time.
The production combines theater, music, and humor designed for both families and school groups. With a fast-paced rhythm and imaginative staging, the play offers a fun yet thoughtful look at how technology shapes our daily lives.
Loosely inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland, the story follows a young girl who enters a surprising universe dominated by mobile devices, notifications, and screens. In this world filled with quirky characters and absurd situations, Alice discovers both the risks and contradictions of excessive technology use, as well as the importance of reconnecting with the real world around her.
This new season welcomes actor Rubén Albaladejo to the cast, joining Júlia Bonjoch, Queralt Albinyana, and Jordi Llordella. Together, they bring to life this dynamic and humorous theatrical adventure that explores screens, digital connections, and human relationships.
