Reivindica’t is an awareness-raising program about children’s rights through the performing arts, aimed at schools and secondary schools in Catalonia.
The program consists of three phases:
1st Phase: Teacher training and delivery of the program guide dossier (one online session).
2nd Phase: Three creative sessions in the classroom (introduction to children’s rights, writing a short theatrical piece about a child’s right, and rehearsals with the support of the Viu el Teatre artistic team, held in person).
3rd Phase: Public performance and evaluation.
The aim is to create short theatrical pieces about children’s rights, developed and performed by the participants themselves, which will be shown internally to the rest of the school’s students or in a cultural venue close to the school environment.
At the end of the whole process, a video is produced to raise awareness of children’s rights, which is premiered on November 20th, on the occasion of the International Day of the Rights of the Child, through Viu el Teatre’s communication channels.
The project lasts two months (October and November), with the aim of promoting the transfer of skills that enables children and young people to participate in society as full citizens.
Participating schools do not have to bear any cost. The Reivindícate program is funded by Viu el Teatre with the support of the Department of Children of the Barcelona City Council, the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, and in collaboration with UNICEF.

- Registration: June 2026

From Viu el Teatre we believe that children should have the necessary tools to become full citizens in society, and REIVINDÍCATE is a tool that helps make this possible through the performing arts and their educational potential.
We strongly believe in the REIVINDÍCATE program and its social benefits, after three editions carried out and evaluated with all the people involved (teachers, students, artists, and production team).
In the following video you can watch a summary of one of the editions and find more information about the project.
