The sensory and musical performance PINTAMÚSICA, created by Berta Ros, Gisela Juanet and Lorena Lliró and produced by Viu el Teatre, will take part in the 32nd Subotica International Children’s Theatre Festival, which will be held from 21 to 26 September 2025 in the Serbian city of Subotica. The show will be performed at the Jadran Theatre, one of the festival’s main venues.
The Subotica International Children’s Theatre Festival is one of the world’s leading events in the field of performing arts for children. Every year it brings together companies from across the globe and presents a competitive programme with a special focus on puppet theatre and new scenic forms, complemented by parallel activities such as workshops, exhibitions, film screenings and street performances.
With more than 600 performances and over 50,000 spectators from 5 countries since its premiere, PINTAMÚSICA has captivated family audiences with an immersive experience that combines live music, colours and shapes inspired by Joan Miró to stimulate the senses of children aged 1 to 5 and encourage artistic experiences shared within the family.
Its participation in Subotica strengthens the international projection of the performance, which has already toured several European festivals, and reaffirms Viu el Teatre’s commitment to bringing high-quality proposals designed for young children to stages around the world.
“It is a pleasure to share our artistic vision at a festival with such history and prestige, and to continue taking the universe of PINTAMÚSICA on new journeys,” say the creators.
With this new step, PINTAMÚSICA continues to demonstrate that art has no borders and that early childhood deserves top-level cultural experiences. This is how the Viu el Teatre team contributes to caring for the world – from the stage.
