Goodbye, 2025! Thank you for so many performances and so many full seats.
2025 is leaving, and it does so with a great taste in our mouths. It’s been an intense year, full of travel, stages, and new perspectives that make us smile and look forward to 2026 with excitement.
El Fil Invisible has continued to stretch strong. Since its premiere, it has already reached 76 performances and 36,759 spectators. For us, it’s not just a number: it’s thousands of attentive gazes, shared silences, and applause that confirm the show is still very much alive. Now, we begin the year with the 2nd season, which premiered on December 22, 2025 at the Teatro Goya in Barcelona.
This 2025 has also been special because we premiered El Hilo Invisible in Madrid, fulfilling a long-awaited dream and goal. Throughout the year, there have been 23 performances and the show has reached 10,000 spectators, a round number that is exciting to say out loud and confirms the good moment of the production.
The rest of the productions have also continued moving forward: Pintamúsica, La Fotògrafa Mira, Alicia al Pais dels Mòbils and HOP! have been adding performances throughout the year (a total of over 60), keeping the shows alive on stage and reaching diverse audiences. Small and large performances that, together, give meaning to the journey taken.
2025 has also made us travel and broaden our horizons. Pintamúsica has reached Serbia, participating in the Subotica International Children’s Theatre Festival, an experience that connects us with different perspectives and ways of doing things all around the world. At the same time, we have continued moving, observing, and learning by attending fairs and festivals such as Fira Tàrrega and the Festival d’Avignon, key spaces to share, discover, and continue growing.
We have also launched Escena Gardunya, a new family programming of outdoor performances in the heart of Barcelona, and we’ve brought Turó Park back to life on weekends, with concerts and performances that have turned the space into a cultural meeting point for families. At the same time, we’ve launched the 3rd edition of the Beca Mans, reaffirming our commitment to supporting creation, and we’ve continued offering school programming through Viu el teatre with schools and proposals for schools and high schools through Cooltiva’t.
And beyond the numbers, what remains is the feeling of a job well done. 2025 has been an intense and diverse year that reflects the essence and purpose of Viu el teatre. We close the year feeling grateful, happy, and excited about what’s coming in 2026. See you at the theaters!
