The production by Grup Focus and Viu el Teatre, which has already welcomed more than 70,000 spectators, will launch its second season at Madrid’s Teatro Alcázar in November 2026.
El hilo invisible has been awarded Best Family Musical at the 18th edition of the Premios Teatro Musical (PTM), held yesterday, 26 October, at the Teatro Capitol in Madrid. Nominated in two of the ceremony’s key categories, Best Original Musical and Best Family Musical, El hilo invisible rounded off the evening by taking home the latter award. The accolade recognises the strength, sensitivity and ability to connect with audiences of a production that continues to make its mark on the family musical theatre scene.
The award comes at a particularly significant moment for the production, which has already welcomed more than 70,000 spectators and is preparing to return to Madrid’s stages. In November 2026, El hilo invisible will launch its second season at the Teatro Alcázar in Madrid, where it will continue to share with audiences a story that brings generations together through music and emotion.
Based on the book of the same name by Miriam Tirado, the show brings to the stage the power of the invisible bonds that connect us to the people we love. Designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, the musical invites audiences of all ages to reflect on affection, distance and emotional connection.
This year marks the 18th edition of the Premios Teatro Musical, held under the motto “Endless Commitment to Musical Theatre”, celebrating the productions and professionals who contribute to the development of the genre. The ceremony was held with the support of the Community of Madrid, Proyectarte, Teatro Capitol and Beats Fitness Club.
Grup Focus and Viu el Teatre celebrate this achievement and congratulate the entire artistic, technical and production team behind El hilo invisible. This award adds another milestone to the journey of a show that continues to move audiences and will soon return to Madrid to meet its spectators once again.
Congratulations to the entire El hilo invisible team! See you at the Teatro Alcázar in November 2026.
